Watford FC introduces new interactive matchday experience for fans, powered by Reactoo

Watford FC works to boost fan engagement with virtual watchalong and watch together feature as premier league football resumes.

With the return of Premier League Football, Watford FC announces a new matchday global experience for fans called ‘Hornets Hive’ where fans can interact with the club whilst away from Vicarage Road. 

Hornets Hive will be the official home of Watford Football Club on YouTube. Host Emma Saunders will be joined by a panel of guests for each event where viewers will have access to exclusive content from the club including behind-the-scenes access at training, interviews with stars past and present and all the best action from each and every Watford FC Premier League game. 

The matchday virtual event will be created using Reactoo’s Cloud Studio platform which allows the producer to connect the presenters remotely via webcam, and vision mix pre-recorded packages into the broadcast. The event will maintain the look and feel of Watford FC throughout, and will be streamed exclusively to their website and dedicated YouTube Channel. 

Watch Together technology powered by Reactoo has been embedded in the club’s website, allowing fans to have their own virtual ‘room’ and invite 2 friends to watch and enjoy the broadcast together whilst chatting to each other via webcam.
