Eleven Sports first Watchalong broadcast powered by Reactoo

Reactoo powers first watchalong broadcast with Johan Walem, Walter Basseggio and Erico Salamone for Eleven Sports.

During December, Eleven Sports gave their subscribers in Belgium the chance to join a watchalong broadcast for an important footballing occasion. Fans used the ‘Watch Together’ feature to join a virtual ‘room’ with friends and family to watch the El Clasico game and enjoy live reactions from Belgium U21 manager Johan Walem, former Belguim international Walter Basseggio and actor Erico Salamone. 

Fans were able to contribute to the football discussion using the live messaging function and engaged in the broadcast by sending questions directly to the presenters. 

The watchalong virtual event was created using Reactoo’s Cloud Studio platform which allowed the producers to remotely connect talent via webcam whilst they watched the games together in sync. The event was tailored to present the look and feel of Eleven Sports throughout, and was streamed concurrently on the Eleven Sports platform and  Facebook.
